We’re only a 50-minute drive from Inverness, making us an accessible yet peaceful getaway. As a family-run business, we take great pride in providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere where our guests feel like part of the community. Mountain Biking
We’re ideally situated between two fantastic, mountain biking trails: Balblair and Carbisdale. These routes are still relatively undiscovered by the masses, but are beloved by those who know them. And if you’re looking for more adventure, just a 30-minute drive brings you to Golspie, home of the famous Wolf Track.
Golf
For golf enthusiasts, we’re just a short drive away from the charming town of Dornoch, where you can play at the world-renowned Royal Dornoch Golf Course. If you're looking to explore more options, there are three more fantastic courses nearby in Tain, Golspie, and Brora. We also have a personal favorite – a delightful 9-hole course just five minutes away in Bonar Bridge. It's a hidden gem that Angus recommends you try!
Walking
Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a relaxing stroll, the surrounding area is filled with picturesque walks for all abilities. Ask at our reception for guides and maps, and we'll help you find the perfect trail.
